The VIII Baltic Transfusion Medicine Congress will be held in Riga, Latvia from May 11-13, 2017. The Program of the Congress, prepared with enthusiastic participation of the Scientific Committee, includes the leading European, international, regional and local speakers to whom you will be able to meet together and exchange their experience and best practices.
We have prepared an interesting educational program that includes:

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the Latvian Society of laboratory specialists and the Congress Organizing Committee, I would like to invite you to the I Latvian Congress in Laboratory Medicine which will take place in Riga, Latvia on May 11-13, 2017 – Radisson Blu Latvia Hotel & Conference Centre. This congress will be co-organized along with the VIII Baltic Transfusion Medicine Congress, helping in a fruitful exchange of opinions and visions among the Latvian, the European and the International colleagues.
The scientific program, containing an interesting combination of presentations, symposia, discussions, sessions and workshops, describing the real situation and the recent innovations in Latvian Laboratory Medicine in the 21st century, will be carefully finalized in collaboration with the European Societies.
During I Latvian Congress in Laboratory Medicine a large, interesting and detailed exhibition of IVD industry products as well as Industry Sponsored Workshops will be organized. In Riga several hundred square meters will be allocated to offer space in order that the latest innovations in the field of clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, cell counting, immunochemistry, and several other will be exhibited.
Riga, a city famous all over the Europe for its history and culture, has many places of interest within a relatively small area surrounding the city center in walking distance from the congress venue. The Congress Center is conveniently situated nearby to the old town as well as shopping and museums area and night life district.
